Huy Can

Huy Cận was a major Vietnamese poet associated with the New Poetry movement of the 1930s and 1940s. His early collection *Lửa thiêng* (1940) established his reputation, while later works such as *Trời mỗi ngày lại sáng* and *Đất nở hoa* reflected a renewed emphasis on collective life and national reconstruction. He also served in government after Vietnam’s 1945 revolution, combining literary work with public responsibilities.
