Ivan Mykolaichuk

Ivan Mykolaichuk was a Ukrainian actor, screenwriter, and film director whose work helped define Ukrainian poetic cinema. He became widely known for his role in Sergei Parajanov’s *Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors* (1964), and later directed *Babylon XX* (1979). His documented body of work includes 34 film roles, nine screenplays, and two directing credits.
