Manuel de Abreu

Manuel de Abreu was a Brazilian physician and scientist best known for inventing abreugraphy, a low-cost mass-radiography method designed to detect pulmonary tuberculosis early. His work helped establish radiology as an important tool in tuberculosis prevention and made him a notable figure in twentieth-century Brazilian medicine.
