Raimon Panikkar

Raimon Panikkar was a Spanish-Indian Catholic priest, philosopher, and theologian whose work made interreligious dialogue—especially between Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism—a central intellectual concern. After studying in Europe and India, he taught comparative religion at Harvard and religious studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His writings explored religious pluralism, comparative theology, and the unity of divine, human, and worldly reality.
